I’ll say this, not only has he been the Sabres best defenseman this year (and making his partner, usually Tallinder, better) he’s going to make Darcy look like a genius for a) drafting him and b) letting Spacek go.
Just make sure, if you do any machinations on your fantasy teams this week, is to go grab Myers, especially if you’re in a keeper league. This has been said ad nauseum, but yes, in fact, Tyler Myers is ahead of the curve set by Zdeno Chara years ago.
I may not get overly excited about this start, but you’re damn right I’m excited about this kid.
