As happy as I was to see the Sabres pull this afternoon game out, I was not happy to see how it all went down.
No definite word on the extent of the injuries, just “a while.” Look for Mr. Ennis, maybe even Weber at this point, because frankly, I don’t want Nathan Paestch anywhere near this lineup right now.
As an aside, Ian Laperriere is a man’s man. 50+ stitches, lost 7 teeth, and came back with the shield and played. I knew there was a reason I wanted Buffalo to sign him in the off season.
